Here’s the last installment of our SHOT Show 2010 re-cap series of slide shows. We thank all of those intrepid souls that wandered through the seemingly endless hallways of the Venetian, and ballrooms of Sands Convention Center to visit our booth. The 2010 SHOT Show was an incredible team effort and our sincerest appreciation is extended to all that made APO’s success possible! Special thanks go out to Kelly and Ryan McMillan at McMillan USA, John Klein at Sage International LTD, Preston Pritchett at Surgeon Rifles, “Lou” at LRB Arms, and Dana Gleason at Mystery Ranch. YOU ROCK! For all of you that have expressed your well wishes and prayers for Richard, thank you. We talked with him today and he’s making plans to be at SHOT Show 2011!

APO’s pre-SHOT Show Live Fire Range Demo

Ashbury Precision Ordnance’s (APO) pre-SHOT Show live fire range demonstration was to say the least very well attended despite the rainy, cold and windy conditions in the desert near Las Vegas. We had some 90 invited guests, VIP’s, PM’s, snipers and small arms specialists visit and shoot Ashbury’s new M24E, ASW338LM, TRG-42 SABER® and the awesome new ATACâ„¢-50 throughout the day from more than 25 government and military organizations. Lunch was catered by Memphis Championship Bar-B-Q and we a owe a huge dept of gratitude to APO staff members Richard Hall (get well soon “Smoove” we miss you) and Susan Gardner for renting the tent with the clear walls and a big heater! It was nice and toasty inside the tent all day long!

We’d also like to thank our friends and business associates for coming out and supporting the range demo on a busy set-up day at SHOT Show. They include Mike, and James from Rock Creek Barrels; OASYS Technology; John from Huber Concepts; VersaPod, Spartan Tactical; Blaine Fields from Lex Talus and of course our good friend “Bert” from RUAG who donated the fantastic SWISS-P ammunition for the range. Our special thanks go out to Jim Smith of Spartan Tactical and Cory Trapp from Gunsite Academy for helping out Matthew, Gary and Bill on the firing line. Guests turned “many live rounds into empty casings” on targets out to 1100 meters and a good time was had by all. Again thank you to all that attended and helped make this event such a big success!
