We’re Back!

Thought I would share some photos of our rifles as they came back in the office after being at the Infantry Warfighter Conference in Columbus, Georgia. We were glad to meet all of you that stopped by our booth. See you at Fort Benning for the International Sniper Competition in October!

Father of Modern Marine Corps Sniping Visits Ashbury

On August the 25th, Ashbury International Group was privileged to host a visit by retired Marine Major Jim Land, the current Secretary of the National Rifle Association. Major Land, as he is generally referred to, served multiple tours in Vietnam and is known as the “Father of Modern Marine Corps Sniping”. As a Captain, he was the Commanding Officer of Gunnery Sergeant Carlos Hathcock, the subject of the book Marine Sniper.

Ashbury International Group is fortunate to have a connection to Major Land through Gary Gregory, the Ordnance Production Manager here at Ashbury Precision Ordnance. Gary is a retired marine Master Sergeant and spent many years in the Marine Corps serving with Major Land as a gunsmith for the Shooting Teams. Since retiring they have maintained a close friendship over the years.

Mississippi Walk for Law Enforcement

We wish our best to Beau Phillips as he begins day four of his Mississippi Walk for Law Enforcement. Ashbury’s Emergency Preparedness Division, ICE PACK, and Mystery Ranch packs teamed up to help Beau as he walks to raise awareness for Law Enforcement salaries.
